Meghan Markle’s nephew, a licensed Oregon marijuana farmer, is growing a special strain of cannabis “in honor of his aunt and her upcoming marriage to Prince Harry.”
According to Leafbuyer.com, 25-year-old Tyler Dooley named the special pot strain “Markle Sparkle.”
Dooley, the son of Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle, was not invited to the royal wedding, but he would still enjoy celebrating with the happy couple.
“Meghan grew up in California and I am sure she has an American view on pot,” Dooley told the Daily Mail. “Prince Harry enjoys a good party. I’d be happy to show them around if they ever come out here, and educate them on the medicinal benefits of marijuana.”
Marijuana use remains illegal in the U.K., but Oregon legalized recreational weed in 2015 and was the first state to decriminalize possession of small amounts of cannabis.
Dooley is legally growing the special strain of marijuana in Grants Pass, Oregon, and in Northern California. It will be available first in California while Dooley looks for a distributor in Oregon.
“Markle Sparkle,” a hybrid strain, is said to be “uplifting and has been known to create a tingling body sensation.” It’s also engineered to make you “feel positive, happy and energetic.”
Dooley, his mom and his brother Thomas traveled to London on Tuesday, although none of them were invited to the royal wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle.
