This is what I found on INDEPENDENT.CO.UK:

A nine-year-old girl who had both legs amputated when she was a baby will be walking the runway during New York Fashion Week.

Daisy-May Demetre, from Birmingham, was born with fibular hemimelia, a birth defect where part or all of the fibular bone is missing, which required her to undergo amputations of her legs when she was just 18-months-old.

However, Demetre hasn’t let it stop her from pursuing her dreams of becoming a model.

She’s going to walk in Lulu et Gigi Couture in London for Kids’ Fashion Week.

“We believe that inner beauty comes first; from within, and our garments are made to enhance each child’s uniqueness,” the company’s website says. “Inclusion and diversity are fostered, celebrated and encouraged.”
