This is what I found on MANOFMANY.COM:

Who doesn’t love a comeback story? Especially from the old-timers.

Colin Trevorrow ain’t no Steven Spielberg, but he may be a magician. He’s somehow found a way to bring back the original cast of Jurassic Park for his 2021 film Jurassic World 3. Speaking at a Hollywood screening late last month, Trevorrow revealed the exciting news saying Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will all have sizeable roles in the upcoming sequel.

Released in 1993, the original Jurassic Park was an industry-changing piece of cinematography. At that time CGI was still considered a novelty, but Spielberg proved it was there to stay. After seeing test-shots of Jurassic Park’s dinosaurs, Spielberg’s friend and colleague George Lucas compared it to “one of those moments in history, like the invention of the light bulb or the first telephone call”.

Plot details for Jurassic World 3 are a mystery, but Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are confirmed to be reprising their roles.

In late September, Forbes reported:

Set to drop on June 11, 2021, the third Jurassic World film will feature Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in their original Jurassic Park roles.

Dern herself revealed the news less than a day ago during a screening of Battle at Big Rock, a short film by Colin Trevorrow, director of 2015’s Jurassic World, now set to direct and produce the yet-to-be-titled third installment of the series.

Specifically, Dern will reprise her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler. It will be the character’s first appearance since 2001’s Jurassic Park III. Goldblum will return as Dr. Ian Malcolm, whom fans have last seen in 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park, while Neill is set to star as Dr. Alan Grant, last featured in the 2001 production.

Steven Spielberg will serve as an executive producer with Trevorrow.

In September, unconfirmed reports said Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who starred in the 2015 and 2018 movies, would reprise their roles in the new movie. Now they are confirmed.
