This is what I found on NYPost.com:
A newlywed California couple was arrested on their honeymoon to Hawaii for repeatedly violating the state’s mandatory quarantine for travelers, according to a report.
Borice Leouskiy, 20, and Yuliia Andreichenko, 26, of Citrus Heights, Calif., were read the requirements of the two-week self-quarantine when they arrived Wednesday night to a Waikiki hotel, news station KHON reported.
But the couple scoffed at the directions, claiming they contradicted what airport screeners told them, according to the report.
After daring to leave the hotel premises twice in two days, the couple were “arrested on charges for unsworn falsification to authority and violation of the 14-day quarantine.”
KHON reported that the couple were both raised in the Ukraine. Andreichenko is a Ukranian National, while Leouskiy is a U.S. citizen.
